The wallet from Hong Kong

Confirmed its authentic. I found the identity tag/sticker inside the wallet.

Relieved!!

Back from BKK

Attended Uncle & Auntie Chatree's house warming party. The house is very spacious. Simple and yet with some European elements. I liked the walk-in wardrobe in the master room the best. Its the dream place for every girls i think. Big closets, nice basins, alot of space for cosmetics...sunlight shining in.

My whole family went on stage to wish them good blessings. And even had sung a song- Tian Mi Mi by Theresa Teng.

Had very little shopping this time. Total only spent 3 hours in MBK and 2, 1/2 hours in Chatuchak.

The rest of the time is spent in meals, massages and traffic jams.

Also i finally bought the diamond earrings. Small one. Abt 0.2 carat each side. Sort of regreted. Shld have bought the 0.3 carat pair.

A small incident- First day we went happened to be Uncle Chatree's birthday. As per his usual practice, he will visit the Orphanage and Handicapped homes to do some donations. I have never stepped into these homes before. I was upset when i saw those handicapped adults. Some of them had to lie in bed, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Why cant they walk around like normal people? Why do they have to suffer like that?

Then i really broke down when i saw the orphans. They are just 2 years old or even younger. Why did their parents abandon them? Why cant they have enjoy their parents' love like other kids? Why are they different?

**I better manage my emotions better.

Childhood friends

Yesterday happened to meet my childhood friend, Jeanne. She is now staying in HK with her husband and now is back in Singapore to clear her annual leave. Had a nice talk with her, updating each other mainly on our work.

Good to chat with a childhood friend again.

New wallet

My brother's classmate from QUT came for holidays from "Zhong Shan" China. He brought with him 7 other people so you can imagine quite a group.

Since they are coming from HK airport, asked for his help to get me the Chanel cambon wallet. He was nice and agreed willingly. I called the chanel boutique and reserved the wallet. The price for the wallet was steep, HKG 5,000 which is abt SGD 980. Costly for a wallet. Anyway i was deciding between a LV wallet and a chanel wallet. Thought LV might be too common.

Anyway abit taken aback after getting the wallet. Cos it looked like imitation A grade goods. Which shouldnt be since there was official receipt from the boutique.

*I should try not to be suspicious abt everything*

1 August 2007

1st of August. I am actually looking forward to this day. Not becos of any special occasion but because the past one month has been especially "sway" if you read my previous posts.

So Angie was saying 2 days ago that August would be a good month.

Early morning i have an appt at T3. But missed the shuttle bus so had to wait abt half an hour for it. I was late of course and i think my colleague might not be too pleased at me. Anyway after walking all the way from T2 to T3, then i realised my camera pouch has dropped off. It contains 1 uob credit card, 1 atm card and cash of abt $80.

I was so upset that i didnt continue with the rest of the meeting. Traced all the way back to T2 where i alight from the shuttle bus. Went to lost and found also nothing.

Hence had to cancel my cards. I thought lost some cash no choice.

After a while, uob called me and said good news. Someone found my pouch so gave me the person hp to call him. I called up Mr Woo. And he sounded mature. Anyway he said someone found my pouch and handed in to him. He is an airport staff based at Budget Terminal.

Initially i thought of going over to look for him. Then he called and said he is going out for lunch soon. So he said he will meet me at Starbucks, T2 to pass me the pouch.

Surprisingly, he is quite young. So he passed me my things and i need to sign a form to acknowledge.

I am so lucky to get back my things. And managed to meet a young, quite good looking man somemore.

Welcome August!
