Happy 2008 in advance!

I am gonna be away for the next week. Will be in HKG for the countdown. Looking forward to the nice fireworks opposite Avenue of Stars, at the IFC building.

Just hope that it wont be very crowded during this period.

Birthday lunch but on Christmas Day

My special day treat from dear buddy, Regina at an italian restaurant, Changi Village Hotel. It has a fantastic view of the changi sea.

30?

Oh NO..tomorrow is the day! The day when i hit my BIG 3. There is no more turning back... no more writing a "2" infront for age whenever i fill in application forms, lucky draws, survey forms etc.

It is so scary. I just hope my bank account also moves the same direction. upwards.

My only console is that i seem to look younger than my age, which alot of people tell me so. *i hope they are telling the truth*

No matter what, my wish is to age gracefully and wisely.

Woman always must maintain, maintain, maintain. Take care of our skin, looks and of course figure. This will be my 2008 and after resolution.

Final week of 2007.. also xmas eve today

Wow... this is it.... goodbye 2007 and hello 2008. ha sounds like tanya chua latest album.

2007 was ok for me, in terms of work. Family wise, some problems. Hope to sort out and resolve by early 2008.

No matter what, i wanna wish everyone good health and happiness. These are the two most important things at this point of my life.

Christmas Lunch

Merry Christmas!!

Abit early?? Cos we celebrated christmas in office today. We had lunch, no turkey, log cake etc though. It was mainly malay food as we have malay colleagues.

Anyway its the company that counts. We had games and it was fun.

Almost half the group of people including me got forfeited just because we played the numbers game and we are Different from the rest.

Haha but we got away easily just by singing a christmas song.

Tomorrow another christmas celebration up at Silver Kris restaurant. Yeah.. finally those ham, turkey waiting for me!

Jealousy

It is a bad word.

But recently i seemed to be overcomed by it easily.

Ten men & 1 lady

Dont be mistaken by the subject heading.... there's nothing naughty abt what i am going to write.

The story goes:

My boss asked me to attend a site meeting with him at T3. I thought they wanted to discuss abt the leases, which i can help if i'm around.

Anyway he didnt even bother to introduce me to the rest of the people. And they were all discussing abt technical issues and design stuff which doesnt relate to my scope of work at all!

Worse of all, there are abt 10 or 12 guys around and i am the only lady. I cant contribute so felt very EXTRA.

My boss talks to me once in a while but other than that, nobody actually gives a damn abt me.

Finally, i think my boss sensed that i am so bored cos i stand one side and totally not able to join in their men's talk. So he tell me to go off first since they will continue to discuss abt technical stuff.

In the first place, i dont understand why did he ask me to join him. Maybe he needs added assurance or extra company??

Chocolates

My boss is back today.

He bought 3 "little" packets of chocolates from States for Whole office. Two packets of Hersey's kisses, which i dont like cos its way too sweet for my liking and One packet of M&Ms, as if there is none on sale in Singapore.

Anyway i can only conclude that men are men. They never like shopping, even for food.

Yeah yeah yeah!

My boss is coming back from his long leave on Monday!
