Today my boss spoke to me in a very irritated tone.
Idiot!

All abt Japan
I am now watching Japan Hour. (Every sunday 1pm channelnewsasia)
The more i go japan, i more i love this place. Everything is just so pretty there, the sceneries, the people, the food, the shops, the building, the clothes, the accessories even the supermarkets...
My dream is to go japan once every year~~~

My SFO story
Ok. Here comes a longer post.
Although i am back from SFO for one and a half months already, i hope its not too late to still talk abt it.
Starting with my flight there. It was good, much better than what i expected on long flights. It was first a 4 hour flight to HKG then 12 hours to SFO. I slept quite a bit during the 12 hours journey, thanks to a sleeping aid. And of course the nice sumptuous food on board helps..
Landed at abt 6pm (SFO time). Checked into a very nice hotel- Hyatt Regency but bad location cos far from downtown. Instead it is located near the airport. I dont want to be stuck in the hotel so early and i am not sleepy yet so i went downtown San Francisco ALONE. My colleague didnt go with me as he is totally not interested in shopping. It took me abt 45 mins. First i need to take the shuttle bus from hotel to the airport. Then took BART (train system) from the airport station to downtown. I dont feel safe actually cos it was dark at night and i see quite a few Blacks around. So i always stick to women and stay around where there are more people in the cabin. I was always on high alert.
I want to sidetrack a little. In the US, we need to give tips for almost everything. So everytime i took the hotel shuttle bus for even a short distance and which is supposed to be a free service, we will still have to tip the driver. I was just thinking that the driver can be very rich from all these tips. His basic income might be low as a driver but his tips are definitely alot!! I have noticed throughout the 2 days, taking total 4 shuttle trips that abt 80% of the passengers will give him tips. That really adds up to alot of money. And most of these drivers are Asians.
Back to my story, so i went downtown San Francisco. After the shuttle bus and BART ride, i reached Market Street at abt 8pm. I was told that the malls usually closed at 9pm. So i only have 1 hour to shop. I went to Nordstorm, Bloomingdales, A&F and Hollister. Then took the BART back again at 9pm. No dinner at all. Just bought a cup of hot chocolate back to hotel.
Next morning, Sales Mgr picked us up at hotel at 830am and brought us to town office at downtown to meet up with VP. Then started viewing. I actually enjoyed working with the Americans. They are friendly and frank. And most importantly deliver what they promised.
Lunch was on station. It was a nice dim sum restaurant but i always cant eat alot when i am on duty travel. Worked lasted till 4pm! Happy! More time to shop. That night went to Victoria Secrets, Juicy Couture, American Eagles, Old Navy..etc. That night i had a nice tuna sandwich for dinner. Again my colleague doesnt want to go out and he stayed in the hotel room from 4pm onwards through the night. Goodness gracious.. isnt it boring?
Next morning, we had meeting again at town office. Then took the 1pm flight back to Singapore. This time round we transit at Incheon. Thats when the terrible incident happened. Pls refer to my earlier post.
There are alot of Asians in this city (Mainly Hong Kongers) and you see them everywhere. So i actually feel quite at ease from the second day onwards. This trip no time to visit any tourist attractions like fisherman Wharf, Golden gate bridge. But its ok as this is my second time here already. It's a great city, i dont mind coming back again for holidays.
