Back from KL

It was a good trip but very very tiring. Not enough sleep every night, due to late night movies, casinos and simply people coming back to the room at different times.

But it was a fun trip nevertheless. Watched 2 movies, Underworld 3 and Inkheart. *Underworld is more entertaining.

Also went singing at their Be-A-Star Karaoke....cheap! Jeremy vocal improves tremendously. The rest of us have always been good..ha

Shopping wasnt so good this time. I did not find alot of things nice to get. Cant say the same for the 3 girls though :") They had a good time shopping and bought quite a number of things over the 3 days.

I spent more on food this time.

So the good news is that i still have quite abit of riggit left for my next M'sia trip!!

Off to KL

Tonight after our pre-reunion dinner at my house, we will be driving up north to capital of Malaysia!

I just hope there is no jams to and fro.

Shopping in KL.... fantastic!

The Sea View

Went to a birthday party this afternoon at the Sea View Condo. Quite a nice development with a few big pools *although i dont swim :) The location's good too.

Unfortunately no chance to go up to the apartment itself as it was rented out already.

I am so looking forward to the trip next week to KL & Genting for the Chinese New Year. Although it is a place where we have been so many times, but it's the company and the atmosphere that counts. Almost the whole family is there, uncles, aunties and my ah ma. And cannot missed out my three lovely cousins too.

Two years ago we were there for CNY and we had so much fun.

Let us relive those good times.

The Terminal

I am enjoying this show so much, now showing on channel 5.

It is abt a guy who was caught in between 2 countries, Kroazhia and United States and as such had to live in the international transit terminal at JFK airport. Until one day the US recognises the new govt of his country.

I guess i can relate so much to this movie cos i sort of work near the airport too. So i know how the airport works, some parts of it.

And Tom Hanks is such a great actor. He loves his own country so much, even if it is in turmoils.

The story-

This romantic comedy from director Steven Spielberg revolves around an Eastern European man by the name of Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks), whose plans of immigrating to New York were hastened by a violent coup in his home country. Unfortunately, Viktor finds himself on the wrong end of a nasty technicality while en route to America: His passport was issued from a country, which, during its upheaval, ceased to exist in an official capacity. Unauthorized to leave Kennedy Airport upon his arrival and unable to return home, Viktor finds himself exiled inside the terminal's international transit lounge. Though airport official Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci) views Viktor as an annoying bureaucratic glitch, other airport employees -- including a beautiful flight attendant by the name of Amelia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) -- come to see him as a welcome, if unofficial, addition to their numbers. As the days stretch on into months, the terminal transforms from an intimidating atmosphere of forced assimilation into a country within itself, complete with culture, ambition, status, complex diversity, and the need for love.

Happy day

2009 has been nice.... so far.

I had a happy day today. Everyone was nice to me, even Ms K. Made me feel so good.

I had a good lunch. Work was ok, my boss left me alone. Except i had a bit of dizziness. I wonder if it has anything to do with lack of sleep. I had been recuperating alot this week. Maybe its not enough.

I will sleep early again tonight....Zzzzzzz

Calories

I didnt know i was taking in so much calories when i added whipped cream to my Iced Latte. I didnt realise they are that fattening even though they are heavenly when added to the drinks.....my favorite

I must keep myself away from Starbucks from now onwards- otherwise i will be unknowingly putting on weight.

失忆症

I think i mentioned in one of my earlier post abt my poor memory or should i say lost memories.

I am not sure why i couldnt remember alot of my childhood or even up till JC. And even uni days. They are very vauge and what i can best remember is perhaps the people. But not events or incidents.

Even recent happenings i dont think i can recall. Could it be selective memory? where I only remember things that i want to. And forget the rest.

Otherwise i cant be as bad as i am now. I am now like an elderly folk.

Revive my brain power please.

Starbucks

My recent craze since Christmas is the Starbucks iced latte with whipped cream, either normal or decaf.

I have been having so much of it since last week. I hope its not going to be bad.

2009?

Firstly, Happy new year to all!

Although i have reservations for this year, especially since the outlook isnt looking good. Economy down, job markets unstable, consumer confidence low...

I also read from a few horoscope reports that this year isnt a smooth sailing year for capricorn and snake. I will hope for the best and may i be the minority better ones among all.
