YES!! UAT testing finally over. One job down... Thanks to my IT colleague who went thru the difficult part step by step... hee although i am supposed to be the key user of this testing.
Now my 6 sigma project.... persevere on!!

Finally bought a chanel classic bag in Dubai. Its a tax free country so which means i get to save maybe abt SGD400. But still very very expensive.
And after i bought it, my mum keep scaring me saying that it could be imitation and maybe i got cheated in Dubai. Then i begin to get sceptical too. But cannot be right? Its a proper chanel boutique in an upmarket shopping mall. And i obtained the address from the official chanel website. Somemore they issued me official chanel receipt. So I better stop worrying abt it.
Also bought a chanel spectacles there. Cheaper by SGD200 and some more can bargain... haha. Very pleased with my victory items.
Yesterday went DFS shopping. bought another Cole Haan bag... but much cheaper than chanel especially after 30%+20% discount... its a black medium hobo weavings bag... quite classy... look abit like cousin of Bottega Veneta...
Next time post the photos of the bags up.

Dubai- Eye opener
Back from Dubai. Abit of jet lag as it is 4 hours behind us. And somemore alot of office work to clear.
Flight was delayed due to Oman storm so had to deroute. That took additional 1 and a half hours so total abt 9 hours. Reached around 2am. Immigration officer gave me strange looks. And when i reached hotel, noticed the night club at upper sty.... yes! there is a night club in the hotel.... turned the whole place so sleazy... Locals in white robes, their national dress. Russian woman sexily dressed. I guess some of the guys were drunk too.
Anyway i was scared out of my wits... and i had to go to my room alone. And guess what, the second lock in my room wasnt working. The door is only secured by a normal lock and a chain lock. So i started imaging that someone might come in the middle of the night... it was already dead in the night.... to cut off the flimsy chain and do something. So how ingenious i am! I pushed the coffee table and arm chair to "block" the door. At least if someone tries to come in, it would give me some warning first.
Caught some sleep (2 hrs) cos too tired. Day time was not too bad. At least more "normal". Went for site inspection. Drive through whole city of Dubai including the famous seven star hotel.. but didnt managed to go in of course. Also had Arab food for lunch. Courtesy of Admin Mgr.
At night got treated to a very sumptuous dinner at Hyatt hotel by GM, Persian food. Not bad too, similar to Arab food but very very full. After dinner, proceeded to a lounge. Ordered hot tea... haha... cos i was too cold. They made special arrangements for my hot drink cos they never had such funny request before. The SM and my colleague asked if i wanted some wine. I think better not. I am in foreign land!!
And i want to add, the temperaure is crazy. 40 degrees... i cannot believe i actually survived.

Flying off soon
Going Dubai tonight. In another 3 hours time. My Dubai colleague promised to send me work information for the trip but fail to do so. Oh dear, which means i will be so unprepared. Thats bad!!

Course and travel
Dear all, i am on course again next week. I cannot imagine the number of courses i have to attend a year. I mean its good to upgrade yourself and escape from work sometimes. But work in the office get held up especially when there is outstanding work to be done.
Anyway one good news. I am going Dubai next week too. Depart wed night. Heard its very hot... i hope i dont become bbq. And the country is tax free so..... Happy Shopping!
