Happy Valentine's Day

I had a nice day. Not the work though or chocolates or flowers but i had a nice lunch treat from my boss. Its actually a cny treat but we had it on V day.

It was lunch at Bali Thai, Tampines Mall.

I was happy because i consider it some sort of celebrations as well. No matter what,its great to have nice food & company on Valentine's Day.

Vomitted in office just now accompanied with a bad headache. I think its the lunch i had.

Today is the last day of the Year of the Pig. I must say it has been a good year for me. I have travelled to several cities, both for work and holidays. Work has been smooth as well. Relationships... let's just say i am still waiting :)

Tonight we'll have our sumptuous reunion dinner, count down with tv programs to the year of Rat. Tomorrow, visit relatives, collect Hong Baos, say auspicious New Year greetings... Although its the same routine every year but i still look forward to it.

Last night i was at Bedok Blk 216 after dinner. My mum and I splited up to buy last mins stuff. She went to the wet market to get some more ingredients for tonight's dinner while i headed to NTUC to buy others. When i stepped inside NTUC, the whole atmosphere was just fantastic. This is the first time i squeezed with the others during this period. I would usually rather avoid the crowded places. Anyway the place is all full of people grabbing what they want, knocking each other slightly, very noisy with CNY songs. But no one seemed to mind because they are so happy or busy preparing for the important day. I liked that feeling.

For the year of Rat, i wish for good health (most important), happiness, smooth career, love all around and $$fortune!

My Ah Ma

Today's my ah ma birthday. We are going to have a feast tonight at Paramount Tong Le Restaurant.

I can never describe and say enough abt how lovable my ah ma is. All of us in the family, from oldest to the youngest, respect her and always care abt her. She also has great advice for us anytime we need guidance in life.

So i am wishing Ah Ma- Happy Birthday and Good Health and Always Happy.
