Today is the last day of the year and we are welcoming a new year tomorrow.
However i have to work full day till 5.30 pm.. I feel tired especially when i know the others are having half day.
Luckily i had a good zi char dinner at Tanjong Rhu, an old estate located just at the fringe of the city centre. It is less crowded over there which i like, probably because it's residents for the few HDB blocks are mostly elderlys. I guess the few young ones staying there have gone off to celebrate or count down at Marine Barrage.
I look forward to the new year. May it be a better year for everyone!

All the little things that my three cousins and family do for me are so sweet.
Sometimes i am so occupied that i missed out the concern and care they have showered me. I must not take them for granted.
I will appreciate every little thing that they have done for me from now on.

Overcome
I finally overcome my fear of the fish spa today.
I put in one feet into the small pool and the fishes immediately swam over, like ants attracted to honey.
I dont understand why they like to eat dead skin so much?
Anyway the feeling is ticklish and like massage. My feet also felt slight vibrations, probably because of many many fishes swimming around my feet at the same time.
I can't guarantee if i will try that again...

Happy Birthday...
...to me!
One of the first bdae celebrations for this year... high tea with my 3 dear cousins at my favourite high tea place, Scotts Lounge.
The company was fantastic, the food was yummy, the ambience was christmasy, the mood was happy and funny ....there is even a white sparkling christmas tree at a corner of the lounge... need i say more?
And birthday songs in 3 different languages.. english, mandarin and korean!! Winine- learn the japanese one next time can?
My "birthday cake" is my all time hit- similar to warm chocolate tart with vanilla ice cream.
Thank you Tenny for the high tea and Wendy, Winine for the company! I had a great time as always.

Pissed
I am abit pissed off with my staff.
It happens that this week i have two long lunches. One is for a birthday and another is for a farewell. So the lunches took longer than usual and i went back to the office at abt 3pm. Usually if i go out for lunch, i'll be back abt 2pm.
Anyway, i know she was not very happy on the first occasion. I could feel it when i passed her work to do.
Then today, she told me straight that she dont think its right that i go such long lunches. She said "people" are noticing it.
I am angry man! You are not my boss, you are my subordinate. What right have you to tell me off? I am not compromising or delaying my work and urgent matters.
I respect you because you have been in the company for very long. But you dont have the right to tell me what to do. I will accept it if my boss tells me that.
To avoid any argument, i tell her i will minimise in future. But i still cant get over it!!

Fish spa
I am still unable to overcome the fear of many many little fishes* nibbling at my feet. I cant even bear to put a small section of my feet into the water.
It is disgusting... not so much of the feeling but the look of it.
On the other hand i wanted to feel how it's like. At least can say i have tried...
