Yesterday boss asked me into the room. After i sat down, he handed me an envelope. At first i thought it was retrenchment or warning letter. Then he "siow mi mi" and say its my merit increment. He put in the recommendation for my appraisal this year. And he said it will be an increase in my monthly pay.
Initially i thought it was at least few hundred dollars. After i went out of the room and tear open the envelope, found out less than that. Ah yo.
But i guess its the recognition of hard work and performance that really matter.
Opps and i suddenly realised i forgot to thank him for putting in the recommendation for me. Maybe i should do so on Monday?
2 more hours later going for the 6KM walk. Hope we will have fun.
