14%!!

Regina treated myself and Huiping to dinner at Hotel Asia last sunday.

We were enjoying the dinner and my sharks fin soup. And i was telling them abt how i am going to train myself to drink, drink as in drink liquor. So Huiping suggested ordering a bottle of promotional white wine from South Africa. In the end, 3 of us each had a glass filled with wine in front of us.

Initially i was handling it quite well. But after a few more monthfuls as well as some cheering and bottoming up, i started to feel "not myself". Head felt abit heavy, eyes watery. And felt warm.

I think both of them knew that i had too much already, hee although it was seriously less than 1 glass. Anyway later we checked the bottle and found the alcohol level to be 14%. Abt 100% more than the usual Australia wines of 7%-10%.

So i guess thats what they say abt being "high". Cant help but keep smiling and feel happy. Also cheeks flushed alot. They said very pretty, like natural blusher.

But i am still sober, just felt good. And i can still manage to take the train and walk home cos felt better once i am outside the restaurant, in open air.

Regina also asked me to flush out the alcohol with alot of water. Which really helps. And next morning, no hangovers. Work as usual.

So can i say i am improving?
